MEET THE TEAM
David Mills
Director
David began his building career in 1990 in his family’s building company, which specialised in commercial and domestic renovations and new homes. Moving on to sub-contract with local builders under his own name allowed David to gain extensive trade experience. In the mid 1990s, David joined a commercial construction company, managing projects including a new hospital medical unit, a resource centre at a high school, 26 home units, two convenience and major fast food outlets, a sporting complex and a health care centre. David holds a level IV Certificate in Building Technology, and qualifications in building energy rating design, carpentry, painting, plastering, concreting, paving and tiling.
Ben Peake
Builder
Ben is our leading man in all our building and maintenance aspects. Ben not only brings his experience and knowledge to the team, but his charming persona can brighten up anyone’s day. Ben is truly talented in all facets of the trade which is evident in all that he does – unless it’s 110% perfect – he will not let it go.
Adam Vos
Carpenter
With over 11 years of experience in the building industry, I’ve honed my skills as a versatile carpenter/joiner. From humble beginnings in Tasmania to thriving on the Sunshine Coast for the past decade, I bring a touch of creativity to every project. Whether it’s crafting custom furniture or renovating spaces, I’m a jack of all trades ready to turn your vision into reality.
Gabrielle Simon
Interior Designer
Gabrielle joined the Licester family in 2014 where she also completed her Diploma in Interior Design & Decoration.
Lydia Dean
Interior Designer
A talented Interior Designer with 9 years of experience in the design and construction industry. Her work abroad in Southern California and Whistler, Canada, has influenced her design style and honed her skills. Lydia is passionate about her job and plays an essential role in the design process.
Brandon Varday
Workshop Manager
Meet Brandon, born and raised in Noosa and proud father of 3, Brandon has a heart of gold. With over 10 years of experience in Cabinet Making; in both production and managerial roles, Brandon’s skills and ‘work hard attitude’ is a testament to him and his work ethic. With Brandon’s perfectionists trait, his quality controlling measures will not allow anything to leave the factory until it’s perfect.
